This case study comes from one of the largest DIY retailers in Europe, offering products in the areas of home and garden. They have been undertaking a number of initiatives with the objective of reducing transportation emissions over land and sea.

As a retail company, transportation and the resulting carbon emissions are unavoidable. Still, we aim to reduce these emissions as far as possible and implement measures along the whole transport chain.

Bosch Power Tools is taking a big step towards reducing its impact with its new range of measuring technology for DIY customers. This includes aspects of the design and manufacture of the products themselves, in addition to packaging and even the supporting marketing campaign.

Make it Zero: Overview for the industry Webinar

On the 15th October Make it Zero hosted a webinar for over 400 experts across the DIY sector, including suppliers and retailers from across the globe. We gave an overview of the initiative and invited organisations to participate in the initiative.
